The Ogden High School Mountain Bike Team is a competitive race team in the Utah High School Cycling League and part of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA).

Our student athletes are in grades 7 through 12 enrolled at Ogden High or any of the schools that feed into it. High.
Our team is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization; the entire staff, coaches, and ride leaders are unpaid volunteers.

Student athletes that are in grade 7 or 8 on Sep. 1 are referred to as the “DEVO” (Development) Team.
Student athletes that are in grade 9, 10, 11, or 12 on Sep. 1 are referred to as the “HS” (High School) Team.
These two distinctions are made because of the different requirements and expectations of each group.

What we are best at

We promote and practice NICA’s five core values

Fun
We are a team that loves to laugh, cheer each other on, win, and pick each other up when we don’t. We believe in Type 1 and Type 2 fun; we practice both.
Inclusivity
All skill and experience levels are welcome. Anyone that wants to learn skills, improve, or develop a love of cycling is welcome on our team.
Equity
Everyone learns at their own pace, sets their own goals, and the team supports their efforts. Our racers include brand new mountain bikers, varsity racers that compete at the top level of cross-country bike racing, and everything in between.
Respect
Our riders develop a love and respect for the outdoors and the beautiful State of Utah. We foster responsible use of all trails and facilities.
Community
Our athletes learn to love cycling. It is a lifelong sport. Part of this love includes giving back to our beautiful community. We love Ogden and its trails and mountains. We volunteer at community events and complete trail improvement work each year.
